INSULATING PANELS AND RIGID MATERIALS

Insulation panels and rigid products are self-supporting materials which can withstand temperatures from 300 to 1600°C and are primarily used as insulating materials.

Depending on the quality, the average dimensions range from 1000 x 500 to 2400 x 1200 and their thickness from 3 to 100mm.

Insulation panels are made of artificial mineral fibres, metal oxide, microporous silica, calcium silicate sometimes with added organic or mineral binders or resin.

None of these materials contain asbestos.
